Terrain / Accessibility:
You will need to allow 2.5 to 4 hours to complete the full route. The trail follows a well-defined footpath over moderately inclined ground. Where a climb is required steps are provided. The footpath is unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Opening Times:
The trail is open seven days a week, throughout the year (closed Christmas Day).  The trail opens at 9.00 a.m, closing times vary according to the time of year.  Please ring the Ticket Office (015242) 41930 for further details.

Dogs:
Dogs are allowed on the trail although they must be kept on leads in certain sections and when crossing farmland.

Safety Information:
The trail is strenuous and passes through areas which are dangerous if you leave the path.  To ensure enjoyment of the trail please:-

Keep to the main footpath
Please read and follow all warning signs.
Suitable footwear must be worn (e.g. walking boots or strong shoes).
Children must be supervised at all times.
Please take extra care in wet weather as the footpath may be slippery.
